This wine is made from old-vines Grenache grown in sandy clay soils. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 780 metres.
An interesting feature of this wine is that it is produced like a Blanc de Noirs.
Thus, after the harvest the grapes were crushed, put into stainless steel tanks and fermented without prior maceration with the grape skins. Since the wine juice and the skins were only in contact for a very short period of time, the winemaker was able to obtain a slightly coloured must from red grapes. This is why we call this wine a Blanc de Noirs.
The fresh Naranjas Azules Garnacha 2018 was bottled in February 2019.
This delicious Grenache rosé wine should be enjoyed over the next 18 months.
The rosé wine Naranjas Azules has a bright, rosy, low-medium robe with orange-coloured and onion skin-coloured tinges.
This rosé wine by the Soto y Manrique winery is rather original with aromas of strawberries and cherries, along with white flowers, some herbal notes (mint, fennel) and a touch of mandarin orange.
Fresh and gulpable, this rosé wine from Castilla y León carries some lively of succulent red fruit, enlivened by touches of fresh herbs, flowers and hints of citrus. Medium finish with remembrances of citrus and wild berries.
|Our personal opinion||
Dressed in an elegant, French-like, rosy suit, Naranjas Azules Garnacha 2018 by Soto y Manrique goes well with pasta, rice or blue fish. It is also a delightful afternoon drink.

The name is rather odd, but the wine delivers. A Provence-style rosé for half the price.
Cool rosé. Nice aromas, drinks super easy.
A French-style rosé. Pale, sexy, crisp and delicate.
