This young Spanish white wine is a single varietal Chardonnay.
Harvested at dusk, the grapes were vinified over a period of 40 days. Then they were fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 13ºC.
Finally, the wine was aged for 4 months on its lees before its bottling.
Drink Otazu Chardonnay 2017 over the next 18 months.
Otazu Chardonnay has a straw yellow colour with some steely tinges.
This varietal Chardonnay from Navarra shows lively aromas of green apples, tropical fruit and citrus over a background of white flowers and aromatic herbs.
This is a savoury and delicately unctuous young white wine by Señorío de Otazu. Apples, pears and pineapples combine with aniseed and some buttery notions. Good acidity and medium finish.
