Pago del Vicario Petit Verdot is a rosé wine made from a French variety, Petit Verdot, that seems to feel better in the hot plains of the old Castile than in the great estates of Bordeaux, its homeland.
Crafted by the Pago del Vicario winery, the grapes were harvested, destemmed and cold-soaked in stainless steel tanks for a period of 8 hours.
Then the juice was drawn off and fermented at a low temperature to extract the colours and aromas that make this Pago del Vicario Petit Verdot Rosado 2016 a wine worth-trying.
Serve cool. Drink until 2018.
Pago del Vicario Petit Verdot has a medium, clean cherry robe with a bluish hue on the rim.
This rosé wine made from Petit Verdot is intense and fragrant, showing aromas of strawberries, raspberries and liquorice. We also find some notes of jellybeans, menthol and dry overgrowth.
