This Palacio de Bornos is a Verdejo wine is made from over 30-year-old vines grown in rocky soils.

Traditionally vinified, Palacio de Bornos Verdejo 2018 was cold-soaked and then fermented in stainless steel tanks.

Produced by Palacio de Bornos, this wine should be drunk over the next two years.

The white wine Palacio de Bornos has a straw yellow colour with some greenish tinges.


Fresh and straightforward, this young Verdejo from Rueda suggests some tropical notes, bitter herbs, freshly cut hay and remembrances of aniseed, orange blossom and jasmine.


Light and smooth, this white wine by the Palacio de Bornos winery has a fresh passage through the palate. Notes of pineapple, citrus, herbs and aniseed. Good acidity and delicately bitter finish.

Our personal opinion

Fresh and versatile, Palacio de Bornos Verdejo 2018 is a good companion for rice dishes, tapas and Japanese food.

    I've been drinking this for quite a long time. It is fresh, grassy & has a bitter tip. Very good.
