Details

A young Spanish rosé wine, Parató Pinot Noir is crafted by the Parató Vinícola winery.

Made from organically grown Pinot Noir vineyards, the grapes of this rosé wine marketed under the Penedés DO were harvested at their optimal ripening point in mid August.

Once in the cellar, they were crushed and macerated for 3 hours.

After that, this rosé wine by Parató Vinícola was drawn off for 48 hours and fermented in stainless steel tanks for over a period of 15 days at a low temperature.

We suggest that you drink Parató Pinot Noir 2017 over the next year and a half in order to enjoy its fresh and fruity character.

Additional Information

Appearance

The red wine Parató Pinot Noir has a clean, bright, seductive raspberry colour with a violet rim.

Nose

This organic Pinot Noir from Penedès is an explosion of red berries, combined with notes of pears, citrus and some remembrances of watermelon, aromatic herbs, creamy nuances and flowers.

Palate

Fresh and juicy, this rosé wine from Penedès by Parató Vinícola is light, agile and fresh. Notions of ripe red fruit, a dash of aromatic herbs and a touch of citrus. Round and pleasant, with a nice acidity and a medium, fruity finish.

Our personal opinion

Besides being eye-catching, Parató Pinot Noir 2017 is well-crated and very versatile. Pair it with pasta and rice dishes.

I drank this with Tapas during a trip in Spain. Then I ordered the wine and was again very pleased with it.
