The vineyards belong to the DO Bierzo. Manually harvested and selected, the grapes were destemmed and fermented uncrushed in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with frequent punch-downs and pump-overs.
Finally, Petit Pittacum 2018 was aged in oak barrels for a brief period of 3 months.

The wine Petit Pittacum has a very bright, clean, medium cherry-coloured robe with a violet rim.
This young Mencía red wine smells of raspberries, cranberries and wild strawberries, with some herbal remembrances, and hints of laurel, liquorice and balsam.
Light, juicy and fresh, this young red wine by Bodegas y Viñedos Pittacum has an outstanding acidity, with a delicately bitter core and remembrances of violets, red berries and wet earth. Medium finish with some fruity and mineral remembrances.
