Pierre Péters Les Chétillons 2009 was born in what is arguably one of the best terroirs in the whole of the Champagne region: that surrounding the town of Le-Mesnil-sur-Oger.
Its producer, Pierre Péters, is a true legend among Champagne lovers because of the elegance and finesse of its wines.
The grapes were harvested by hand and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Secondary fermentation took place in the bottle, after which the wine was aged for a substantial period of time in the cellar.
Pierre Péters Les Chétillons Blanc de Blancs is a Millésimé, or single vintage Champagne, that is only crafted in exceptional years.
Drink now until 2024.
Bright, clean, pale yellow colour with some greenish tinges.
Dreamy aromas of white flowers, ripe white fruit and French patisserie. Notes of orange rind, fresh almonds, aromatic herbs, spices, fresh ginger and English cream custard.
Smooth and supremely elegant. Dry fruit, dry apricots, toast, acacia honey and herbs. Extremely delicate texture, almost imperceptible bubbles and long, evocative finish.
