Farmed following environmentally friendly practices, the grapes were harvested by hand and brought to the cellar in little boxes.
Gently crushed, the wine must was fermented in trunk-cone shaped stainless steel tanks.
Prior to its bottling, the wine was aged for some months on its lees.
Drink this Prieto Pariente Viognier 2014 until 2018.
Clean, bright straw yellow colour with some golden tinges and a greenish rim.
Delicate notions of peaches, pears and apples, combined with touches of exotic fruit, citrus and white flowers. On the background, remembrances of moss and freshly cut grass.
Medium-bodied and unctuous, with an elegant character and a delicate complexity. Peaches, apricots, herbs, flowers and some mineral undertones. Excellent balance, good acidity and long, sensuous finish.
|Our personal opinion||
Complex and accessible. Serious and gulpable.
