The vines grow in clay and sandy soils that bring a distinctive character to the wine.
Harvested at their optimal ripening point, the grapes were selected in the cellar and subsequently vinified in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Racó d'Atans Criança 2008 has a limited production of 8,500 bottles.
Drink now until 2023.
Clean, bright, high garnet-coloured robe with a purple rim.
Powerful and bold, showing aromas of plums, vanilla, mulberries, wild strawberries, laurel toast, balsam and smoke.
Creamy and muscular, with a remarkable structure, impressive tannins and a well-balanced acidity. Exquisite balance between fruit and oak. Very long, complex finish.
