This could be the most precious wine produced in the island of Majorca.
Indeed, not only is the red wine Son Negre a work of art in itself. Moreover, each year the wine features a different label designed by Miquel Barceló, one of the world's most respected painters and an old friend of the Ànima Negra Viticultors winery.
Son Negre 2011 is made from a blend of 95% Callet, Majorca's noblest red grape, along with tiny amounts of Fogoneu and Manto Negro. The grapes come from old, low-yielding vines grown in some of the island's best terroirs.
Exquisitely vinified, this Spanish red wine was aged for 20 months in French oak barrels.
We suggest that you treasure one or more bottles of this wine for at least 3 or 4 years. Then, prepare to be amazed.
Following enterwine's policy, since we have not tasted Son Negre 2011 we will not supply its tasting note.
