It is made from vineyards planted at 500 metres above sea level and grown in clay, limestone and slate soils.
The three varieties were separately harvested, macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Then Terròs 2015 was blended and aged for 18 months in 300-litre French oak barrels.
Drink this red wine from Montsant until 2025.
Decant 1 hour before drinking.
The red wine Terròs has a bright cherry colour with a violet rim.
Ripe red fruit, jammy black fruit, wrapped in dim aromas of clove, cumin and cinnamon. On the background, this Crianza red wine from Montsant suggests some intense mineral notions and remembrances of underbrush and violets.
Some balsamic and spicy notions, nuanced by notes of ripe fruit and some mineral intimations. This red wine by La Cova dels Vins has an excellent acidity, a smooth texture and some firm, delicious tannins. Long finish with some earthy and floral hints.
