After the harvest, the grape bunches were slightly crushed and macerated for a short period of time with the skins.
Then the grapes were gently pressed, and only the resulting free-run juice was used to produce this rosé Cava from Penedès by the Torelló winery.
Finally, Torelló Rosé Brut reserva 2013 was bottled and, after the completion of secondary fermentation, was aged for a minimum of 18 months.
Drink this rosé Spanish sparkling wine over the next 3 years.
The Cava Torelló Rosé Brut Reserva has a nice raspberry colour with some rosy tinges.
This blend of Grenache & Pinot Noir is defined by aromas of redcurrants and wild strawberries, as well as plums, quince jelly, dried figs and Mediterranean herbs over a mineral background.
Yummy, fresh and inviting, this brut rosé by the Torelló winery has a sexy, suave mousse and an inexpected depth brought about by the years. Mediterranean garrigue, pristine red fruit, dim remembrances of citrus and flowers and a thin mineral layer. Long, enjoyable finish.
