Viña Sastre Pesus 2010 is a red wine from Ribera del Duero that is only produced in truly exceptional vintages. Production is in the region of 1,500 bottles.
Bold and refined, this wine is produced from the very best grapes coming from the very best estates of the winery.
The plots are located at an altitude of 800 metres above sea level in the town of La Horra, Burgos, one of the most sought-after enclaves of the region.
This Spanish red wine was exquisitely vinified by the Viña Sastre winemakers following traditional procedures.
Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks. Then, malolactic fermentation was completed in barrels. Finally, the wine was aged for 22 months in new French oak barrels.
