Produced in the northern Spanish region of Somontano, the grapes come from 4 plots located at an altitude of 380 metres above sea level. Soils are composed of sand and limestone.
The grapes were harvested by hand and separately vinified in stainless steel tanks.
After that, Gran Vos Reserva by the Viñas del Vero winery, was aged in 80% new French oak barrels from Allier for a period of 15 months.
Finally, the wine was gently filtered prior to its bottling.
This Spanish reserve red wine has a medium-high, ruby-coloured robe with a cherry-coloured rim.
Considerable aromatic complexity. Notes of ripe strawberries, cranberries, menthol, aromatic herbs, liquorice and fennel. The Oak ageing process shows in delicate notions of fine leather, Havanna cigars, roasted coffee and sandalwood.
Fresh and bold, with velvety tannins and a very precise acidity. This is a fully grown-up wine, pleasant and round. Long finish with a complex aftertaste of red fruit, spices and some earthy remembrances.
