Vd'O 5 2010 is a Spanish red wine that belongs to the premium series of single-varietal wines produced by the prestigious winery Vinyes d'Olivardots.

This wine is a varietal Grenache made from grapes coming from the best plots of the winery, located in the wind-swept northeastern Catalonian region of L'Empordà, near the French border.

Harvested by hand and exactingly selected, the grapes were fermented and then macerated for a long period of time in stainless steel tanks.

After that, Vinyes d'Olivardots Vd'O 5 2010 was transferred into French oak barrels, where it was macerated and further aged for 16 months in French oak barrels.

The wine was not bottled or filtered prior to its bottling.

A limited production wine, it will improve in the bottle for about 7 years.

Decant a minimum of 1 hour before you drink it.
