Bodegas Sobreño

Following traditional methods, the Bodegas Sobreño winery crafts red wines that fully express the bold qualities of the Tinta de Toro (aka Tempranillo) grape.

The Bodegas Sobreño winery in Toro, Spain, was founded by a group of passionate winemakers from La Rioja who wanted to create great Toro wines made from Tinta de Toro, a mutation of the well-known Tempranillo with a bigger structure and a higher tannin content.

The Bodegas Sobreño winery owns 80 hectares of vineyards situated on the banks of the Duero River. Some of the vines are over 30 years-old. The winery also manages 90 hectares of vineyards belonging to independent wine growers all over the Toro DO.

The wines of the Bodegas Sobreño winery in Toro are clean, bright, and well-balanced. All bear the intense, distinctive character of a Toro red wine.
