This remarkable Spanish red wine is produced by Bodega Arzuaga Navarro, a winery founded in the mid 90s in DO Ribera del Duero.
The main variety of the wine Arzuaga Reserva is Tinto Fino, nuanced by a spark of Cab. Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes were sourced from over 80-year-old vines planted in clay-limestone soils at 900 metres above sea level.
Harvested by hand and carefully selected on site and in the cellar, the grapes were partially destemmed, cold-macerated and slowly fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the wine Arzuaga Reserva 2020 was transferred into new French oak barrels, where it completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 30 months.
