Produced by Can Blau, a branch of Gil Family Estates, the red wine Blau Barrica comes from DO Montsant.
This expressive Spanish red wine is made from a blend of Carignan, Grenache and Syrah, coming from vines grown in different kinds of soils.
The grapes were carefully selected and fermented for about two weeks in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
After that, the red wine Blau Barrica 2024 went through the malo in French oak barrels, where it was aged for a brief period of time.
This young red wine from Montsant will pair nicely with stews and casseroles.
