A society dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of Cava, the Confraria del Cava has teamed up with the charity organization Càritas Catalunya to help children in need.
The result is Cava amb Cor, a worthy philanthropic initiative.
This charitable Cava was jointly produced by 15 wineries from Penedès.
This non-profit Spanish sparkling wine is made from the traditional DO Cava varieties: Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Parellada. It was traditionally vinified and then aged for 24 months in the bottle.
The charitable Cava amb Cor 2022 is endorsed by the Roca brothers, owners of the world-famous restaurant El Celler de Can Roca in Girona. The production process was supervised by master sommelier Josep "Pitu" Roca.
For each bottle sold, 2,00€ will be given to the Càritas organization.
