Recently arrived, the sensational Cutio Garnacha is without question one the absolute best values on our website.
Produced in DO Cariñena, Aragón, by the Mas de Mancuso winery, this Spanish red wine is made essentially from Grenache, complemented with a small amount of Carignan.
Both are sourced from 60-year-old vineyards with clay-limestone soils situated at 690 metres of altitude, near the village of Almonacid de la Sierra.
The hand-picked grapes were destemmed and cold macerated at 10ºC before fermenting in stainless steel tanks with frequent pump-overs. After that, half of Cutio Garnacha 2019 was kept in epoxy lined concrete diposits, and the other half was aged in French oak barrels for 4 months.
Bottled in May 2021, this red wine from Aragón was aged for a further months in the bottle before being released onto the market.
35,000 bottles produced.
