Red Wine Edra XtraSyrah 2015
Availability: In stock
Harvested by hand in mid September, the grapes of this Spanish red wine were first cold-macerated and then fermented in tanks.
After that, this red wine from Aragón was drawn off and transferred into French and American oak barrels to complete malolactic fermentation.
Aerate this wine from Edra Bodega y Viñedos 20 minutes before drinking.
Pair this Crianza red wine with meat recipes and cold cuts.
The red wine Edra XtraSyrah is bright cherry with a garnet rim.
After some aeration, this varietal Syrah shows complex notes of spices, balsam, roasted coffee, undergrowth and flowers, over a deep background of black fruit and mineral nuances.
Meaty, yummy and palate-coating. Fruit is more palpable than in the nose, nuanced by hints of chocolate, toffee and toast. This wine from Edra Bodegas y Viñedos has some round tannins, a good acidity and a long, slightly bitter finish.
|Our personal opinion||
A wine worth discovering, Edra XtraSyrah 2015 is a respectable Syrah from Aragón.
