The high-end Glenmorangie 18 Years Old is a first-class, 43% ABV Single Malt Whisky produced in the Highlands.

This jewel of the Glenmorangie Distillery was aged for 18 years. The first 15 years it was aged in American white oak Bourbon casks, and the last 3 years 30% of it was aged in Oloroso Sherry casks.

The result of such fastidious process is truly outstanding. Just for the record, in the 2010 World Whisky Awards Glenmorangie 18 Years Old was chosen the best in its category. In the 2012 International Wine & Spirits Competition, it won a Gold Medal.

This whisky by the Glenmorangie Distillery has a beautiful golden colour with some honey-coloured glints.

The nose of this Scottish whisky is inviting, seductive, remarkably rich. Aromas of resin and burnt sugar, combined with notes of vanilla, honey, citrus and berries, seguing into some increasingly rarefied suggestions of flowers and lychee juice.

As for the palate, the smoothness of Glenmorangie 18 Years Old is something to marvel at. Marvelously balanced and finely textured, it is reminiscent of citrus, orange, pomelo, dry fruit and agave syrup, nuanced by flecks of spices, figs and ripe dates. Extremely long finish.
