Produced by La Conreria de Scala Dei, the wine Les Brugueres Negre is an easy-drinking and approachable Spanish red wine from DOQ Priorat.
It is made from a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, coming from several parcels of certified organic vineyards with different soil compositions and sun orientations.
The two varieties were separately fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. Once completed, 70% of the wine was aged for 10 months in 300-litre French oak barrels, and the rest was left in the tanks.
As inviting as its white counterpart, the well-known Brugueres Blanc, the red wine Les Brugueres Negre 2022 is approachable and food-friendly.
We suggest enjoying this organic Priorat red wine at a slightly lower temperature that usual. It greatly benefits from it.

This vegan red wine from La Conreria d'Scala Dei lifts the spirit with good fruit - cherries, blackberries and raspberries - remembrances of Mediterranean garrigue and subtle spicy nuances. Long, delicious finish. |
