The Bodegas López Cristóbal winery produces the wine López Cristóbal La Linde from vines planted in Finca La Linde, a vineyard located at an altitude of roughly 800 metres above sea level.
Virtually a varietal Tinta del País (Tempranillo), the composition of this Spanish red wine includes a droplet of Merlot (5% of the blend). Both varieties grown in slimy-limestone soils, and the vines are around 20 years of age.
The grapes were harvested by hand and vinified in stainless steel tanks. After that, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was aged for 3 months in new and used French oak barrels.
Finally, the wine López Cristóbal La Linde 2024 from Ribera del Duero was aged for a further 3 months in the bottle.
Pair with BBQ meats or a cheese platter.
