Produced by Pago de Los Capellanes, the wine Pago de Los Capellanes Joven Roble is sourced from estate vineyards located in Pedrosa de Duero, in the heart of DO Ribera del Duero.
This young Spanish red wine is solely made from Tempranillo. After a meticulous harvest, the grapes were first destemmed and then cold-soaked in stainless steel tanks. Then they were fermented in those same tanks at a controlled temperature and with daily pump-overs.
After that, this young red wine underwent malolactic fermentation for over a period of 3 weeks. Then it was transferred into new, 300-litre French oak barrels and aged for 5 months.
Finally, the wine Pago de los Capellanes Jove Roble 2024 was gently fined prior to its bottling.
