The varietal wine Pago del Vicario Petit Verdot Rosado is made solely from Petit Verdot. A difficult, late-ripening variety, it has found a second home in the hot plains of Ciudad Real, Castilla.
Produced by the Pago del Vicario winery, the grapes were harvested, destemmed and cold-soaked in stainless steel tanks for a period of 24 hours.
Then the must was drawn off and fermented at a low temperature to extract the colour and aroma that make the wine Pago del Vicario Petit Verdot Rosado 2023 a highly enjoyable wine. After that, this young rosé wine was aged for 2 months on lees with frequent stirrings.
Serve this Spanish rosé wine at a temperature of 8-9ºC.
