Made by bodega Pazo Tizón, the red wine Pazo Tizón Extramundi Tinto is basically made from Araúxa (the local variant of Tempranillo), with a smidgen of Mencía and Grenache.
This interesting Spanish red wine comes from a 2-hectare vineyard planted with vines around 15 years old, in DO Ribeiro.
Hand-harvested at dawn in 16 kg boxes, the grapes were meticulously sorted and then cold macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
It is worth mentioning that the red wine Pazo Tizón Extramundi Tinto 2024 was not aged in oak after completing alcoholic fermentation. The aim was to preserve the top-notch natural acidity and crunchy character of this red wine from Ribeiro.
