Whisky Talisker Skye

Produced by the Talisker distillery, the oldest on the remote, rugged, windwept island of Skye, the whisky Talisker Skye is a NAS Single Malt Whisky that, while showing the peated and sea-salty character typical of Skye whiskies, is nonetheless more immediately approachable and fruit-driven than the 10 year expression, Talisker 10 Year Old.

After a meticulous crafting process, this Single Malt from Skye matured for some years in American oak casks, with a higher proportion of toasted casks than other Talisker Single Malts.

This No-Age-Statement Single Malt is deep amber with some copper-coloured reflections. On the nose, the whisky Talisker Skye is reminiscent of sweet spices, toasted marshmallows, smoke, salt water and caramel. The palate of this NAS Whisky is gently peated, salty and smooth, with a surprising note of red berries and hints of black pepper, cedar, cardamom and fudge, giving way to a long, gently spicy finish.
