The 2024 vintage of the wine Terra Remota Tan Natural is, again, a blend of Syrah and Tempranillo grapes sourced from organically farmed vineyards with granite soils located in the northern area of DO Empordà.
Produced by Terra Remota, the wine project of French-born Marc & Emma Bournezeau, both grape varieties were meticulously harvested and separately vinified. First they fermented spontaneously in stainless steel tanks, and they were then macerated for 3 weeks, with frequent pump-overs.
After that, the wine Terra Remota Tan Natural 2024 was aged for some months in the tanks. Finally, it was cold-stabilized and bottled unfined.
Impeccably crafted, this red wine from Empordà proves that not all "natural", aka, no added sulfites wines lack balance and elegance.
