One of the absolute best varietal Grenache wines produced in Aragón, the wine Tourán Garnacha is the top-of-the-range product of Bodegas Morca, a branch of Gil Family Estates.
The grapes were sourced from low-yielding, 30 to 50-year old vines grown on the hills of the Moncayo mountain range, a limestone-rich area in DO Campo de Borja.
Picked by hand, the grapes were traditionally vinified. Each plot was individually fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation of this Spanish red wine was carried out in French oak barrels.
After that, the red wine Tourán Garnacha 2022 was aged for 22 months in the barrels. Finally, this vegan red wine was aged for a further months in the bottle before hitting the market.
