A varietal Tempranillo made from estate vineyards, the wine Viuda Negra Crianza is produced by Bodega Javier San Pedro, a modern winery located in Laguardia, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa.
Made from vines over 20 years old, this Spanish red wine from DOCa Rioja was vinified following minimal intervention techniques.
Fully destemmed, the grapes were macerated in stainless steel tanks, after which they were fermented under controlled temperature.
Then the red wine Viuda Negra Crianza 2022 was transferred into French oak barrels and aged for a period of 12 months.
This varietal Crianza red wine conveys the character of Rioja Alavesa in a faithful way.
