Ca n'Estruc

The Ca N'Estruc winery makes wines from local and international grape varieties agains the imposing background of the Montserrat mountain range.

Located in the town of Esparreguera, DO Catalunya, Bodega Ca N'Estruc takes its name from an old country house where wine was first produced around 1548. Founded and directed by Francesc Martí, known as Siscu Martí, the winery owns 22 hectares of vineyards at 165 metres of altitude, planted with local and international varieties. The rest of the grapes are sourced from 20 hectares owned by local winegrowers.

Composed mainly of sandy and rocky soils, the Ca n'Estruc estate is protected from the cold northern winds by the Montserrat mountains, enjoying a benign microclimate with fresh summers and mild winters.

The Ca n'Estruc winery produces red and white wines, which are vinified in stainless steel tanks and aged in French and American oak barrels of different capacities and with different degrees of toasting.

As for the Ca n'Estruc wines, the winery produces two labels: L'Equilibrista and Idoia. There is also an entry-level series bearing the company's name.
