Ianvs Vins

A new wine project dedicated to the exploration of Catalonia’s richly diverse wine regions.

Founded by Rubén Talavan and Sascha Koch, two professionals with several years of experience in the wine industry, the Ianvs Vins project was launched in the summer of 2023. Based in the province of Girona, the project is focused on the production of low intervention wines with local varieties in different Catalan wine regions.

Made in collaboration with local wineries in south and north Catalonia, the debut releases of the project Ianvs Vins convey two contrasting sides of the Grenache variety. The first wine, Ianvs 1, is a crunchy, electric Grenache from Gandesa, Terra Alta, Tarragona. Coming from the northern area of Empordà, Girona, the second wine, Ianvs 2, is inviting, smooth and floral.

To underscore the fact that Ianvs wines are single vineyard wines, the 2024 vintage comes with a new packaging and a new name. Besides the two reds, the portfolio includes a new skin-contact White Grenache wine from Gandesa, Terra Alta.
