La Horra

La Horra

Bodegas La Horra is the project of the well-known Bodegas Roda in Ribera del Duero.

Trying to find a terroir fresh enough to produce the kind of wine that they had in mind, the team of Bodegas RODA arrived at La Horra, a region in the province of Burgos with a long-standing peasant winemaking tradition and great conditions for producing high quality grapes.

The first wine produced by La Horra winery, the well-known Corimbo, was released in 2010. Nowadays, this Spanish winery is in charge of 40 hectares of old and middle-aged Tempranillo vineyards. They are farmed in collaboration with the local owners, who in turn own a part of the company. Right now, the facilities of Bodegas La Horra are able to produce around 300,000 bottles of wine per year.
