Produced by Bodega El Grillo y la Luna, the wine 12 Lunas Blanco is a blend of 94% Chardonnay and 6% Gewürztraminer made from vineyards located in DO Somontano.
Harvested by hand, each variety was separately vinified. Once in the cellar, the grapes were gently crushed and pressed for 48 hours to eliminate the gross lees. Then this Spanish white wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature for about 15 days. After that, it was blended and aged for 4 months in the tanks.
Before bottling, the wine 12 Lunas Blanco 2024 was clarified through gravity.
This white wine from Somontano is excellent as an aperitif.
