Produced in DO Ribeiro, the 2022 vintage of the wine 7 Cupos from bodega Casal de Armán is a varietal Treixadura, a Galician native grape.
The grapevines are planted in mostly sandy-clayey slopes and terraces in the Avia Valley. Climate is Atlantic, with a high humidity.
After the harvest, the grapes were cold-macerated, gently pressed and drawn-off. Then this Spanish white wine was then fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Finally, the red wine 7 Cupos 20202 was bottled and aged for a brief time in the cellar prior to its commercial release.
This varietal white wine from Ribeiro is nicely priced and quite versatile.
