Aretheal Blanc Colls de Porrera 2023
The wine Aretheal Blanc Colls de Porrera is the only Spanish white wine of bodega Aretheal, a new boutique winery in DOQ Priorat founded by Marc Aguiló.
This small-batch wine is made from White Grenache grapes sourced from two vineyards with llicorella (slate) soils, La Mina and La Roca, farmed with organic techniques and located between 500 and 530 metres of altitude, in the Colls de Porrera area.
Interestingly, this white wine from Priorat was vinified in reverse order, so to speak. It was fermented in French oak barrels, after which the white wine Aretheal Blanc Colls de Porrera 2023 was kept for about two months in stainless steel tanks.
Production of this white wine fermented in oak was below 1,000 bottles.
