The whisky Asaka Koriyama Blended is produced by the Asaka distillery from Koriyama, Japan, which first opened its doors in 2016.
This Japanese whisky is the result of blending several grain and malt whiskies that went through a double distillation and were aged in ex-Bourbon and new American oak casks.
Golden-coloured with some amber reflections, on the nose this blended Japanese whisky suggests rich aromas of vanilla, apricot, ripe pear, salted caramel and vanilla, with a distant note of leather. The palate of the whisky Asaka Koriyama Blended is smooth and nuanced, ending with a long spicy remembrance and a splash of liqurorice.
