Bottled with no age statement by the well-known Bunnahabhain distillery, the whisky Bunnahabhain An Cladach is an unpeated expression of the Islay whisky. (“An Cladach” is Gaelic for “the shore”, a reference to the location of the distillery on the north-east coast of Islay.)

After being fermented and meticulously distilled, this 1 litre NAS Single Malt Whisky was aged for some years in ex Sherry oak casks.

This Single Malt from Islay is medium amber with some golden reflections. On the nose, the whisky Bunnahabhain An Cladach shows the sweet character typical of the Bunnahabhain style, with aromas of vanilla, burnt sugar, candied ginger, cedar and a sherry note. The palate of this Islay Whisky is oaky and berryish, with hints of dry fruit, chocolate and old wood, giving way to a pithy salty sweet finish.
