The Dominio de Cair winery, a brand of Bodega Luis Cañas, produces the wine Cair Selección La Aguilera solely from Tempranillo grapes.
They are sorted from 40 to 50-year-old vineyards located at an altitude of 800 metres above sea level, in a pristine area surrounded by forests, in the heart of DO Ribera del Duero.
Harvested by hand and selected in the cellar, the grapes underwent a cold-maceration in order to extract colour and aromas. After that, this Spanish red wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Malolactic fermentation took place in new French and American oak barrels (50%-50%). Then, the wine Cair Selección La Aguilera 2020 was aged for 14 months.
Finally, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was bottled and aged in the for a further 12 months before its release.
Aerate this Crianza red wine, a great match for meat dishes, 30 minutes before drinking.
