Details
Made solely from Moscatel de Alejandría, the wine Casta Diva Cosecha Miel is an exquisite Spanish sweet wine produced from a single 40-year-old vineyard situated in La Riba, Jávea, DO Alicante.
Harvested in mid-September, the grapes were first destemmed and then fermented with indigenous yeasts for a long period of time, up to 60 days. Then this sweet white wine of Bodegas Gutiérrez de la Vega was added wine alcohol to arrest fermentation and keep the desired sugar content.
After that, the sweet wine Casta Diva Cosecha Miel 2023 was transferred into oak barrels and aged for a period of 12 months, with periodic stirrings.
Finally, this sweet wine from Alicante was gently filtered before being bottled.
This delightful Muscat white wine is a great after-dinner sip.
