Corbatera 2019
The family winery Celler Noguerals makes the wine Corbatera from a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.
A single vineyard Spanish red wine, it is sourced from a parcel located within the Noguerals estate, a 700 metres of altitude, in DO Montsant.
This blended red wine from Montsant was traditionally vinified. Alcoholic fermentation was carried out under controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, with a 15 to 20-day maceration. Then the wine was transferred into oak barrels to complete the malo.
After that, the red wine Corbatera 2019 was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Gently filtered before bottling, it was kept for several years in the cellar before hitting the market.
We suggest decanting this Crianza red wine some time before drinking.
