Do Ferreiro 2025
A varietal Albariño, the wine Do Ferreiro is made from vines 10 to 50 years old. The respected winemaker Gerardo Méndez produces this Spanish white wine in the town of Meaño, Val do Salnés, DO Rías Baixas.
The vineyards are planted in soils composed of granite and sand. They have good drainage, a key feature in an area which receives abundant rainfall.
Harvested by hand, the grape bunches were destemmed and cold-macerated for 24 hours. Then this white wine from Rías Baixas and fermented in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts.
After that, the wine Do Ferreiro 2025 was aged on its lees for several months.
Pair this white wine from Galicia with rice dishes and creamy cheese.
