Produced by Caves Duran, the Cava Duran Origin Gran Reserva Brut is made from a blend of three native varieties and an international one, all sourced from certified organic vineyards.
Namely, Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada, complemented with a touch of Chardonnay. Harvest went from August -Chardonnay- to October -Parellada-, after which the grapes were meticulously selected in the cellar.
Alcoholic fermentation of this Cava took place in stainless steel tanks. Then this Cava Gran Reserva Brut from Penedès was bottled and completed secondary fermentation.
Finally, Duran Origin Gran Reserva Brut 2020 was aged for 48 months in the cellar before its commercial release.
This is a vegan certified Cava.
