Finca Villacreces 2021
This is the new vintage of the Spanish red wine that bears the name of the prestigious Finca Villacreces winery. The company is situated in the "Golden Mile" of the Ribera del Duero region, not far Dominio de Pingus and Vega Sicilia.
A blend of Tempranillo (92%), Cabernet Sauvignon (6%) and Merlot (2%), the wine Finca Villacreces wine is produced from low-yielding vineyards located over 700 metres of altitude.
Selected twice, the first time on site and the second time in the cellar, alcoholic fermentation and maceration of this red wine from Ribera del Duero took place in concrete diposits and wooden vats. Then the wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Prior to bottling, the red wine Finca Villacreces 2021 was clarified with egg whites and gently filtered. Before its commercial release, the wine was aged for some months in the cellar.
In order to appreciate its complexity, we strongly suggest that you decant this Crianza red wine 1 hour before you drink it.
