Made by Cérvoles Celler in DO Costers del Segre, the wine Garnatxa de Cérvoles is sourced from a single parcel of Grenache vines called "Les Granges", at 721 metres of altitude, in an area called Serra de Llena, a natural boundary between the Priorat and Montsant regions.
Composed of clayey soils with some gravel, the area has a Mediterraean climate with some Continental elements. Because of the altitude, there are great temperature differences between daytime and nighttime, which helps the grapes develop high levels of natural acidity. That fact gives this Spanish red wine a distinctive freshness.
This varietal red wine from DO Costers del Segre underwent a partial full-cluster vinification in stainless steel tanks. After that, the red wine Garnatxa de Cérvoles 2024 went straight into the bottle.
This super quaffable organic red wine will pair fabulously well with tapas and finger food.
