Produced by the Laphroiag distillery, the crafting process of this Single Malt Whisky begins with the cold-smoking of the malted barley over peat fires. The malt is then dried and tossed on the malting floor, where the cool Atlantic breeze provides the salty note that distinguishes the Laphroiag whiskies. After completing fermentation and distillation, this Whisky from Islay was kept for 10 years in ex-Bourbon oak barrels.

This Single Malt from Islay is amber-coloured with some golden reflections. The nose of this Islay Whisky is peaty and smokey, with a spicy and candied note and a remembrance of medicinal herbs.
