Crafted by Les Cousins Marc & Adrià, two members of the distinguished Pérez Family, the wine Les Cousins Sagesse embodies the essence of world-famous Priorat.
This terroir-bound Spanish red wine is made from the two most representative grape varieties in the region, namely Grenache and Carignan.
The grapes come from old vineyards planted on steep slate slopes. They were harvested by hand, after which this red wine from Priorat was vinified in concrete diposits with native yeasts.
After that, the wine Les Cousins Sagesse 2021 was aged in the same diposits for 10-12 months. It thus had no contact with any oak or wood whatsoever before being bottled.
Once bottled, it was kept in the cellar for 2 years before hitting the market.
Decant this Crianza red wine a minimum of 40 minutes before drinking.
