The Escoda-Sanahuja winery produces this Spanish red wine in Conca de Barberà, amidst a pristine environment in the heart of monastic Catalonia.
A radical wine in the best sense of the expression, Les Paradetes was produced following minimal intervention techniques and with no sulfites added.
Utterly indigenous, this natural wine is a blend of Grenache and Carignan.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were destemmed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. After that, the wine was aged for 8 months in those same deposits.
Finally, Les Paradetes 2022 was bottled without having been clarified, stabilized or filtered.
Decant this low sulfites red wine a minimum of 30 minutes before drinking.

| Nose | Somewhat tight and slightly reduced at the beginning, after a while this no added sulfur red wine made from Grenache and Carignan insinuates some wonderfully mineral, earthy notes that are soon punctuated by remembrances of raspberries, ripe plums, raw cocoa and flowers, with a distant note of citrus and garrigue. |
| Palate | Showing an exciting, sort of "raw" character, this organic and biodynamic wine from Escoda-Sanahuja conveys a real sense of terroir and some truly original, sort of metallic remembrances, complemented by some mineral notes and aromas of wild berries, aromatic herbs and a touch of bergamot and dried roses. Great acidity, lively tannins and long finish. |
