The Trossos del Priorat winery, the producer of the red wine Lo Món, is based in Gratallops, in the very heart of Priorat,
This bold Spanish red wine is sourced from vines grown in slate soils and farmed following the guidelines of organic agriculture.
Made from a complex blend of Grenache, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, the grapes were harvested by hand and selected in the vineyard.
Once in the cellar the grapes were destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Then, this Crianza red wine was drawn off and transferred into 225-litre French oak barrels, where it completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 12 months.
After that, the wine Lo Món 2019 was bottled and aged for a further 12 months in the cellar prior to its release.
We suggest that you decant this red wine from Priorat 1 hour before you drink it.

| Nose | A little shy at first, as this blend of Grenache, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah gains steam the mineral notes become ever more present, combined with some aromas of menthol, black and red fruit, combined with touches of spices, Mediterranean garrigue and toast. |
| Palate | Meaty and velvety, this red wine of bodega Trossos del Priorat has an acidity that graciously carries its weight. Well-balanced and savoury, with excellent definition, first-class acidity, bold tannins and a long, mineral finish. |
| Our personal opinion | Thought it might seem a little imposing at first sight, the wine Lo Món 2019 is not a beefy wine. Give it a try and you will be delighted by its gentleness and complexity. |
